fair enough I agree with this in some respects, but I don’t think some of them get paid enough, like when you think about it they get paid shit all in comparison to people who own big business yet running the country is arguably a lot more important. especially people who were just born into it or are the product of the social/monetarialy elite or fat/crazy clive palmer etc… there is also so much stigma attached with politicians and there is not really a huge incentive for the most talented people to move into politics and that’s when you get the current shithouse crop of politicians. I had another point but I forgot. maybe everyone should be like that guy who runs that japanese airline and just take a wage that is still pretty good but not the rediculous greed and power snatching that goes on today. I guess you could also argue putting the politicians on a higher wage will also reproduce the systematic inequality or fuck everything up. fuck really shouldn’t have bothered with this.
